From East
Take LIE to Exit 57. Follow the service road to the traffic light. Make a right turn onto Veterans Memorial Highway (Route 454). Proceed approximately 2 miles and pass Hauppauge High School on your right. Proceed directly through the next traffic light (intersection of Route 111) and turn into the first parking lot on your right. Once in our parking lot, proceed to the lot between the two buildings for easier access to the front door.

From West
From the Long Island Expressway: Take LIE to Exit 56 (Route 111). Follow the service road and turn left at the light, passing under the LIE. Proceed approximately 2.5 miles North on Route 111. At the intersection of Route 111 and Veterans Memorial Highway (Route 454), make a left turn onto Veterans Highway. Turn into the first parking lot on your right. Once in our parking lot, proceed to the lot between the two buildings for easier access to the front door.

From the Northern State Parkway: Take the Northern State Parkway until it ends at Route 347 (Smithtown Bypass). Proceed past the Government Buildings on your right. The road will fork to divide into Route 347 and Route 454 (Veterans Memorial Highway). Bear right at the fork, and at the first traffic light (Route 111), make a U-Turn at the green Left-Turn arrow. The Library is the first parking lot on your right. Once in our parking lot, proceed to the lot between the two buildings for easier access to the front door.

From North
Take Route 111 South. Cross the intersection of Route 347 (Smithtown Bypass) and continue South on Route 111 (Hauppauge Road). At Hauppauge High School, bear right, then immediately bear left when the road forks. Remain on Route 111 passing the Hauppauge Fire Dept. At the intersection of Route 111 and 454 (Veterans Memorial Highway), make a right turn. The Library is the first parking lot on your right. Once in our parking lot, proceed to the lot between the two buildings for easier access to the front door.

From South
Take Route 111 North. At the intersection of Route 111 and Veterans Memorial Highway (Route 454), make a left turn onto Veterans Highway. Turn into the first parking lot on your right. Once in our parking lot, proceed to the lot between the two buildings for easier access to the front door.

Library Hours:
The Library is open until 9:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
